WOW I AM BAD AT POSTING

Pretty crazy that I haven't posted since April. Time flies. I am always keeping up with everyone on facebook and gave up posting on here.

Clearly lots of things have happened since April....

Olivia has gotten so big and is such a handful. She is 20 months now and starting to talk more and more. I love that she can understand. We all know how chatty I am so I look forward to being able to talk to her! Most of our converstations are able ouchie poops and lost sippy cups and her lost baby. OUr daily battle is mainly her poor eating. I can only blame myself since I ate like crap for the first 20 yrs of my life. I have tried many tricks but the kid eats fruit, toast, cheerios, yogart, and milk. Those are the healthy things, she loves: chips, cookies, chocolate, fruit snacks. The only form of meat is SAUSAGE? (I can't figure this one out)She is gaining weight so I am not too worried.

Next big news:PREGNANCY! We were excited to find out in September that baby Bezdicek 2 is due May 4. I will be a scheduled C sect so I am guessing sometime at the end of April is more accurate. Since I have ultrasound at my finger tips I started obsessively looking to see the sex of the baby around 13 weeks. By 14 weeks we thought we saw a boy which proved to remain true every ultrasound for the last 5 weeks. I am now 19 1/2 weeks along. This has been a relatively great pregnancy. In the beginning there was a scare because I had a tear in the baby sac. After lots of worrying and praying it healed. I had very little morning sickness! Awesome. Unfortunately because I feel so good and have the endless pregnancy hunger I eat ALL THE TIME. I wish I had some self control but I have gained 10 lbs already. I had hoped I would NOT gain 35 lbs (like I did with Olivia). I started this pregnancy about 6 lbs heavier than I did with Olivia. I guess I must accept fatness is in my future again!

That is my short version of 8 months! I will try to keep up better with posting.

Olivia is WALKING!!

I have become horrible at posting! Olivia is officially walking. She has been cruising furniture for the past few months but was a chicken about letting go! One day she did and now is cruising the house. Still with a lot of falls but doing good. She has also turned a new corner with her eating. She is a great eater! Wow does that make it easier! The veggies are still a struggle (unless Dad is eating them and then ALL are delicious!) Her 1st Bday Party was a hit! I had hoped for a nice day but instead shoved (literally) 32 people in our tiny living room and dinning room. We have 11 kids under the age of 6! They enjoyed an Easter egg hunt! I have a ton of pics but I have been slacking about downloading them. I will do that soon! We made the decision to list the house regardless of the bad news a few months ago. Houses have been selling like crazy in the area so we are going to try! I really have no idea what we are going to do if we sell it. We probably should figure that out! Our dilema has been that we would prefer to live in Pullman (14 miles away). There is a possible job offer in colfax for me so I don't know if it makes sense for both of us to be driving to a town we USED to live in! The houses in Colfax are so limiting! There are only two that are big enough for our needs. One is 260K and the other is 280k. I REALLY don't want to pay that much given our current house will struggle to sell at 175k. The houses in Pullman are more expensive but a better investment. The median home price there is 280K! Yuck. I REALLY don't want a $2,000 a month house payment but it is looking like that is the reality. What to do what to do??? The whole reason we would like to sell our house is to get a BIGGER house. The baby making process has officially STARTED. I have been back and forth on this issue. We have great insurance right now (we all know this is about to be over! lol) and I would like Olivia to have a sibling close to her age. I wasn't sure I was ready because Olivia has been quite a handful! People that spend time with her would agree, cute sweet child but WOW some days! ;) I am sure the next one has to be calm, less screamy! I would like get pregnant in the next couple months but I don't think it is going to be easy. I have tried to increase the meds, Metformin, to the dose that I got prego with Olivia. Everyday I take the dose I throw up and feel horrible! I have yet to ovulate in the past six months! DUMB. I have heard horror stories from Clomid but the gyno thinks that will be the only option. What to do what to do? I sure would like to have the answers in life! Since that isn't an option...anyone else have suggestions?

Disappointment and Challenges

After many months of debate we decided to contact a realtor to sell the house. The realtor presented all the comps for the area and possible listing prices for us. After seeing the numbers it is such a disappointment. Our house is small (1100 sq ft). I realize other people have houses of similar size and are fine with the sq footage. An 1100 sq ft house built in 1890 is not as efficient at using the space appropriately. We are very much busting out of this house. I have no idea how to utilize the space better. So back to the realtor...best case scenario with a full price offer we will walk away with $1000. That won't exist if the seller asks for closing costs. With the talk of the "making" of a new baby it makes me nervous to think how we will fit another baby into this house. I guess that is a reality of the economy and the times ahead but what a DISAPPOINTMENT.

Miss Olivia is growing like crazy. She is super busy exploring the house and getting into everything I have told her NO. She responds as most sweet mannered girl would...she growls. Sometimes it is accompanied by a shrill scream. For the most part we are working on baby boundaries! lol I would be happy for discipline ideas for an 11 month old. Suggestions?

I am also calling out for help...what do I feed this kid? I have restricted her bottles to a morning bottle, small afternoon bottle, and a bedtime bottle. When it comes time for meals she seems hungry but shuns most foods. Good foods (she will eat): yogart, crackers, oranges, pears, peaches, noodles with butter, oatmeal, and sweet potatoes. Bad foods (spits at me): Green beans, carrots, kidney beans, potatoes, mac and cheese, bread, cheese, and meat. I don't know if I need to make the foods different. She will NOT let me feed her most foods. Yogart is about it. She was a great eater of baby foods. LOVED her vegetables. Now nothing. PLEASE send any suggestions!!!!!

Olivia 10 month picture

Miss Olivia is on fast forward motion! My worry of her lack of crawling ended three days after her dr appt in which we discussed physical therapy. lol Wouldn't you know! She actually took her first steps first but now has decided it is dangerous and there is only walking around furniture. Her crawling came the next day. She decided mommy's cell phone was worth crawling to. She is currently getting her molars in which are horrible! The endless painful screaming is a phase I will be glad to end. Here are a few pictures of Olivia's 10 month photo shoot.

Christmas 2009

Having a kid makes Christmas even better! Although Olivia really didn't understand what Christmas was all about, it was fun buying her presents and getting her to open them. She was able to tear the paper off and play with boxes. She loved all her new presents. She got a walker, alphabet train, laptop, phone, books, and clothes. I got lots of new clothes (really needed given my still fat self!), new coat, panties, socks, scrapbook supplies, soaps, lotions, iHome, and jewelry.
As for my sucky health...amazingly the crazy tilt and throw you in circle motion the ENT dr did worked. The dizziness is so much better. BJ helps me do it at home and so far it is working great. I have an appointment with a chiropractor today for my neck. (ENT told me I should try to help with headaches. He said lots of time pregnancy can misalign your spine and it can help.) I have become an old person that goes to the dr every week. I understand what the elderly do with all their free time...DR visits. I would like to think I will be done after one chiropractor visit! Now I just have to cross my fingers no pregnancy until summer time (I had to go off the birth control. Frankly lets be honest there is no other form of birth control being used other than Olivia's naughty behavior reminding me I need another 6 months)lol

Long Week....

This has been one long week! A little catch up news. Since I had Olivia I have been having dizzy spells, nausea/vomiting, and falling over. It has been scary and annoying. I have seen five different doctors trying to figure out what is going on. On Tuesday I saw an Ear, Nose and Throat doctor who informed me matter of fact that, "It is most likely a brain aneurysm from throwing a blood clot during child birth". Those are words I did not want to hear. I immediately panicked and cried. On thursday I had a MRI on my brain to see if there was one. The MRI showed everything normal except a sinus polyp (creates sinus pressure but not a problem). I also had an ultrasound of my neck because the dr could hear a carotid bruit (regurgitation of the blood). That test also came back clean. I am very thankful that those tests were negative!!! Still dont really know what the problem is. If I turn my head to fast or bend over I immediately get nausead and throw up. The dr prescribed a motion sickness patch on Saturday. It is helping some. I still feel dizzy but the nausea has calmed down. there has been discussion that it is my birth control that is causing it. I was put on a pill that has 3x the hormone levels of a low dose bc. I would love to find out it is the culprit of this so I could be done with dr appt. I will be going back to the dr this next week and hopefully they will have a Plan B that doesn't involve scaring the crap out of me.

On a better note!....Olivia is getting so big. It is so fun to watch her grow and learn things. She has such a silly personality. She is 8 months now but no crawling for the child. We have bribed with candy, pop, toys trying to get her to and she screams. We have giving up and started practicing walking which she really loves. She has been mesmorized by the Christmas tree and shiney presents. I took her pic which she played with the presents. Her main joy was to rip the bows off each present.

Halloween and 6month pics

We have been busy as usual. I realize why people say time flies with kids. Olivia is growing so fast. She amazes us each day with new talents like picking up Cheerios. lol These are her 6 month pictures. I loved the flower costume for Halloween. She isn't sure about the head piece but once we gave her pumpkins to play with she was really happy. We are going to trick or treat at families house and carve a pumpkin so I will post those in a couple days.

Olivia's 6 month Bday!!!

I can hardly believe that she is 6 months! She seems so big to me and then here comes a stanger, "oh she is so little she's just tiny." We have the tradition of celebrating our Happy 1/2 Birthday! That's correct 6 months it is. It is a great excuse for eating ice cream on a Tuesday night and getting a special present like new p.j.s, undies, or cute socks. Miss Olivia got to celebrate with a pumpkin cookie and a new p.j.s. She looks a little confused in these pics...why has mom given me a pile of sugar usually she only gives me peas and carrots?
Olivia has learned lots of things at her mature age of 6 months:

-Never eat Cheerios...throw them across the room.
-When given cup...dump it on the tray or let the milk run over the top of her head and rub in it like lotion.
-Mashed potatoes are poisen but mixed vegetables are scrumptious.

-Why crawl when she can cry until Dad moves her forward the 2 inches she needs to move to get the toy.
-Ice cream is delicious.

-If mom's hair is close twirl slobbered fingers into it and pull as hard as she can and then eat it.

-Sitting up is tons of fun and even better if she can eat a remote control.
-Falling off the bed hurts her head.

Things I have learned:

-Playtex Ventair bottles suck! The numbers wear off the sides and they leak.

-When Carter's clothes say 6 months it means your child will wear it until they are 6 months.
-Need to cut my hair short.

-Should not let baby sleep on bed even if you surround them by pillows.

-Baby Einstein movies are great...I would never have makeup on if it weren't for them.

-I understand why mom's with babies look like crap...I get 5 hrs of broken up sleep a night (if I'm lucky), I never have time to fix my hair and when I do she pulls it and fluffs with slobber until it doesn't look like I fixed it, I attempt to wear nice clothes and then find myself wiping small amounts of vomit off my shoulder and carrots that were spit at me during feedings.

There are many lessons learned but those are the ones that come to mind first.

A little Catch up

She found her feet! Camping trip at Moose Creek Resevoir
This is her silly face!!

Hmmm? Who does she look like?

Full of smiles!!

I have had no time to write!!! This summer has been the busiest we've had, which I really didn't think was possible. You would think with the addition of Olivia we would slow down but nope we drag her along everywhere! We are teaching her lessons of traveling and adapting to new places. Just a little catch up....

July:
3rd- Went back to work after 12 weeks of maternity leave...so glad I took the time off.
10th-19th Zeke came for a 10 day visit...Camping, bowling, and bb camp.
24th-26th Annual Ranch Party with the Bezdicek Family...TONS of fun!
27th-4th Flew to Cleveland OH to visit the Mesaros Family...we went to Cedar Point, fishing, Amish Country, Indians Baseball game, Zoo.
August:
14th-16th Went to McCall for a mini vacation and Olivia went on her FIRST trip without mom and dad to Twin Falls.
20th-23rd Went to Butte, Montana with Jennifer and Kevin.

That is the shortened version of many adventures. Somewhere in there we went to work and made time to to sleep.

Miss Olivia is doing great. She has grown out of her fussing and has become such a happy little baby! We are having so much fun with her. She has learned to sit up and giggle. We started solid foods which she is never to sure about. A few days ago I layed her down to play on her belly and didn't realize her toy was out of her reach. She had the funniest deep concentration look and then used her arms and scooted to the toy. Although I was ecstatic to see her learn I realized this was just the beginning of her destruction.

Olivia's 3 Months Pics

For some dumb reason it keeps turning some of the pics sideways no matter how many times I try.....
