Another Dr Appointment

On Tuesday I had my most recent check-up. Just the usual weigh-in, pee, and heartbeat. Everything was good. I had gained 0.5 lbs, my pee was fine, and the baby's heart rate was 150. So nothing exciting to report. I have looked at the baby a couple more times with ultrasound. Two arms, two legs, spine, stomach....all looks good so far.

Our bathroom remodel is still trickling along. We have the new tub installed. We finished the new wall in the bedroom, framed in the closet, made many repairs and getting new carpet installed in the bedroom. By next week we should have the bedroom completed and put back together. Although I love having a one foot path to walk down the hallway....It will be great! The bathroom has lots of work still to be done: tile the floors, new vanity, new toilet, new texturing, and new paint. One day it will be done!

IT'S A BOY!!!

Well....I had another ultrasound today. We had four different pics of a "bottom" view and there was a "poker" (that's what the technologist kept calling it.) So I am going to officially announce the baby is a BOY.

I am headed to Twin Falls for the weekend so if anyone is available for lunch or just wanting to hang out give me a call. See you soon.

Baby Ultrasound Pics

So while at work today I was able to sneak into ultrasound and take a quick peak at the baby! Peanut was moving around like crazy. Everytime we got near it's legs it kicked them everywhere. We caught one glimpse in between and thought there could be some male parts but it was way to hard to see. We don't know if it was artifact or a boy? Hmmm so I will be having another peak next week but for now here are some pics!

I am 12 weeks today!

Another Dr Visit

I went for my second Doctor visit today. I have lost 4lbs since my last visit. Not really a surprise given my diet of peanut butter, fruit, and crackers. This week I have officially stopped being sick all the time. It still comes now and then but 100% better. The heart beat was 168 and everything measured the same for my dates. I am at 11 weeks. I definately have a baby bump, and the firm believer I am in taking lots of baby belly pics, I am hoping to have some posted by next week.

We have started remodeling the bathroom and bedroom which has turned into a big project. We (not me BJ) moved the wall. BJ did a great job of framing the new wall and the closet. We are hoping to start on the bathroom (replacing the tub) next weekend and then the following weekend we are tiling the floor, a new vanity and toilet. It will be great when it is done but our house is a disaster right now.

Yay!!!! We got see the BABY!!!

Today we had our first ultrasound. It was great. I was so nervous that something would be wrong. I know I am not much of an optimist. BUT everything was fine. There was a nice strong heartbeat. Baby is measuring 1.6 cm. I am exactly 8 weeks. My due date changed to April 3. We are hoping for an April Fools Day BABY. Unfortunately I don't have any pics to post because they just printed them for me.

All is great in the land of our "Peanut" We have decided to refer to the baby as Peanut until we know if it is a boy or a girl. A little weird...yes...but we like it.

Sick, sick and more sick

Well officially for about a week I have started getting "morning sickness". Whoever thought it was only in the morning was a LIAR. I am nauseated all day long. I currently live off peanut butter toast and fruit. It seems to be the only thing I can choke down. The mere thought of most food brings a little vomit to my throat. I know great visual effect just wanted to remind all those mommies of their prego days. Yuck Yuck Yuck.
